The Women and Horses Versatility Challenge

A three phase/three day competition with overall high point winner! Each Horse/Rider team competes for points in Horsewomanship (English or Western); Teamwork/Obstacles; and a Creative Freestyle phase in which she is encouraged to show off her creativity with a "themed" performance set to music. Last year's Freestyle was phenomenal! Let's see what the ladies can come up with this year. And this year a portion of the proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Research.

The Hands On Horse Experience

This year's expo is all about being "Hands On". We want the audience to be able to participate - not simply watch. Try out a product or see a product in action at the "Hands On Arena".

By popular demand we are bringing back our breed demonstrations and stallion parade in 2009.

Rare Breeds Horse Show

We invite owners of any and all rare breeds of horses to participate in a three day horse show for ribbons and fun and to help out a worthy cause, as well. As part of our Horses Helping Humans program a portion of our proceeds will be donated to Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity. Here's just a partial list of the rare breeds we invite to participate: Akhal-Teke, Andalusian, Azteca, Friesian, Gypsy, Haflinger, Kentucky Mountain, Lippizan, Lustitano, Morab, Morgan, Paso Fino, Rocky Mountain, or ???? Come to Guthrie and share your love of rare and unique horses with our audience and with other owners of rare horses.

The Women and Horse Mind, Spirit & Body Seminars

Cheryl Childs, of Spirit Horse Training, specializes in helping women overcome problems and fears with their horses. Participate with Cheryl in one of her ground training seminars and/or one of her "Balanced and Correct Horsemanship" seminars to enhance your bond with your horse.
